Health investment packs
We have produced respiratory health investment packs for each PCT in London. These packs are based on those produced as part of the QIPP Right Care national work stream. The packs use routinely available health intelligence to tell a story about how investment across a pathway is translated into health outcomes. The respiratory packs illustrate the scale of variation in COPD care at a PCT and general practice level and demonstrate how programme budgeting tools can help support future health investment.
We would encourage you to use the data collated in these packs to explore the variations in your PCT and investigate further at a local level to ensure a clear evidence base for future health investment decisions.

We have also developed COPD pathway profiles for each London PCT, which provides a more in depth tool and an additional resource for commissioners.
