Service review
The project was organised into three work areas, looking at:
- Vascular surgery, chaired by Professor Nick Cheshire, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
- Cardiac surgery, chaired by Mr Steve Livesey, Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust
- Cardiology, chaired by Dr Huon Gray, Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust
It focused solely on acute, complex and specialist care and did not encompass primary care or rehabilitation services.
