Comment on new quality standards for London’s adult emergency services

August 13, 2012

The Quality and Safety Programme was established as a key priority for the NHS in London in 2012/13 to address identified variations in London’s hospital-based acute emergency and maternity services during the week and on the weekends.

We are seeking feedback on the draft clinical quality standards for adult emergency services with a focus on emergency departments, critical care, and the fractured neck of femur pathway.

An event was held on Monday 16th July 2012 to present and gain feedback on the draft cases for change and emerging standards for these services. These documents have now been published on the ‘myhealthlondon’ website along with a link to a short online survey, through which anyone interested is invited to submit further comments.
